Complimentary 30 Minute Consultation at WCS

Let's meet so you can feel confident about beginning our work together! Research has found that therapy is only effective if you have a healthy, genuine relationship with your therapist. Because this relationship is so important, I offer a complimentary 30 minute consultation to take time to get an understanding of the goals that you have for counseling, to answer your questions, to let you know about my approach to helping you, and to determine if we will be a good fit for each other. If you are interested in a free consult, please request to schedule a free consult when you contact me.

Fees

*Initial 60 minute Intake Session: $280

*My standard fee for a 50 minute session is $240.

*My fee for a 25 minute relationship skills coaching session is $100. Please note: I offer solution-focused coaching sessions to support relationship skill building. This is an option to schedule in addition to full sessions.

*Sliding Fee and Reduced Fee Option: On a limited basis, I am able to negotiate a sliding fee. Feel free to call to explore if there are reduced fee openings available.

*My Comittment to you: I am committed to connecting you with the best fit, whether it's me or someone else. I am here to help!

Insurance
At WCS, I am able to accept Health Savings Account cards (HSA) and Flex Savings Account cards (FSA). Your insurance company considers me an out-of-network provider, which means that I do not bill your insurance company directly. If you were to use out-of-network benefits, I would provide a receipt that you would submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider to ask if your benefits include reimbursement for out-of-network providers.

Consider the benefits of seeking therapy without using insurance.
1. You can have a greater degree of privacy. Your insurance provider requires therapists to share your diagnosis, goals, and treatment plan. At WCS, I often see clients who don't want this information to be accessible to others.

*People who tend to want a greater degree of privacy are first responders and military personnel , people who need secret and top secret clearances for their jobs, public figures , people addressing sexual or relationship concerns , and people working through past traumatic experiences.

2. You can seek couples therapy without being given a mental health diagnosis. Because couples therapy is generally not covered by most insurance plans , you or your partner will need to be identified as the client and given a mental health diagnosis in order to use insurance for your relationship concerns.

3. You can seek individual therapy without being given a mental health diagnosis. When you use insurance, therapists have to give you a mental health diagnosis. This diagnosis will be a permanent part of your medical record, which can impact future insurance costs, life insurance, job opportunities, etc.

If you need support but don't want a mental health diagnosis , paying out of pocket is a good way to do this.

What if I still need to use insurance ?

I understand that people need to use insurance sometimes, and I am happy to help connect you with trusted therapists who accept insurance. Please reach out if you need help with this!

Payment
WCS accepts HSA/FSA cards, credit/debit cards, cash and check for payment, which is due at each session.
